FULL FACE GASKETS

Maximum Flange Protection for Flat-Face and Low-Load Applications

When working with flat-face flanges, cast iron equipment, or plastic piping systems, our full face gaskets provide the necessary surface area to prevent flange damage while ensuring a dependable seal.

Unlike IBC gaskets, full face profiles extend all the way to the outer diameter of the flange and feature pre-punched bolt holes.

This layout evenly distributes the bolt clamping force across the entire flange face, eliminating the risk of flange bending, cracking, or misalignment during assembly.

Key Feature Breakdown:

  • Full Face Profile with Bolt Holes: Features an outer diameter that matches the flange exactly, complete with precision-cut holes for the bolts to pass through. This keeps the gasket perfectly centred and anchored during installation.
  • Load Distribution: By spreading the bolt torque across a wider surface area, these gaskets prevent localized stress points. This is essential for protecting fragile cast iron, glass-lined, or plastic (PVC/FRP) flanges from cracking.
  • High-Performance Elastomeric Binder: Crafted from premium aramid/synthetic fibre sheets, offering great thermal stability, low gas permeability, and robust torque retention.
  • Safety and Alignment: The full face design acts as a physical barrier against external debris and ensures the gasket cannot slip or misalign under system vibration.

Ideal Applications:

  • Cast iron pumps, valves, and components commonly found in water treatment and municipal utilities.
  • Plastic and fiberglass piping systems that require lower bolt loads to prevent structural damage.

General industrial machinery casings and flat-face pipe connections operating under moderate temperatures and pressures.
