Brass hexagon head fasteners are essential for projects requiring corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, or a decorative finish.

The terms "bolt" and "setscrew" distinguish between the amount of threading on the shank. 

Brass Hex Head Setscrews (Fully Threaded) 

Also known as set bolts, these are manufactured to DIN 933 standards. The thread extends from the tip all the way to the underside of the head. 

  • Best Use: Ideal for permanent positioning or when joining thin materials, as there is no risk of "running out of thread" during tightening.
  • Common Applications: Widely used in electrical installations due to brass's high conductivity and non-magnetic properties. 

 

Brass hexagon head fasteners tend to be fully threaded, although partially threaded are available to special order.

Standards: Available in both Metric and Imperial sizes, such as BSW (Whitworth).
