WELDOLET

A Weldolet is a butt-weld branch connection fitting used to create a 90° branch from a main, or "run", pipe.

They are designed to provide integral reinforcement and minimize stress oncentrations, making them ideal for high-pressure and high-temperature applications.

  • Connection Method: A Weldolet connects to both the run pipe and the branch pipe using butt welds. The ends are typically beveled to facilitate this process.
  • Integral Reinforcement: The fitting's unique contoured shape provides self-reinforcement, eliminating the need for bulky and less efficient reinforcing pads.
