Rapid Action & Anti-Slam: Spring-Loaded Check Valves

Spring-loaded check valves (often called inline or silent check valves) incorporate an internal disc or plunger that is held firmly against its seat by a calibrated stainless steel spring. The valve will only open when the forward system pressure exceeds the spring's cracking pressure. The moment forward pressure drops, the spring forces the disc closed before the fluid has a chance to reverse direction.
