150lb stainless steel threaded pipe fittings

We stock a wide range of 150lb stainless steel threaded pipe fittings manufactured from Grade 316 (CF8M) stainless steel.

These fittings are commonly used in low-pressure industrial, commercial, and marine applications due to their high corrosion resistance.

  • Pressure Rating: The "150lb" (Class 150) designation generally refers to a maximum working pressure of around 150 psi (10 bar) for general use, though some manufacturers specify a higher maximum pressure of up to 300 psi (20 bar) at ambient temperatures.

 

  • Thread Standards: Fittings are available with threads conforming to:
    • BSP (British Standard Pipe): Female threads are typically BSPP (parallel) to ISO 228-1, and male threads are BSPT (tapered) to ISO 7-1.
    • NPT (National Pipe Taper): Common in the USA, threads conform to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1.

 

  • Dimensional Standards: Fittings generally conform to standards like ISO 4144, which defines the dimensions for these types of fittings.
