STEEL

STEEL

Galvanised Steel: Dipped in molten zinc for a thicker protective layer than standard plating. This is a cost-effective, heavy-duty option for large-scale outdoor projects like security fencing.

Bright Zinc Plated (BZP) Steel: Best suited for dry, indoor applications. It offers basic protection and a shiny finish but is less resistant to moisture than galvanised or stainless options.

Mechanical Properties & Torque Ratings

Steel shear nuts are engineered to snap at specific torque levels (measured in Newton-metres, Nm). Once the head breaks off, a smooth, tamper-proof cone remains.
