Form A washers are a popular, standard flat metric fasteners governed by British Specification BS 4320.
They feature a normal outside diameter (OD) and normal thickness, making them a good choice for general engineering, mechanical, and automotive assemblies where no special load-spreading or space-saving requirements are needed.
Form A washers are highly identical to DIN 125 (specifically DIN 125 Type A, which features a flat edge without a chamfer) and ISO 7089. They can typically be used interchangeably in most project designs.
