GALV MALLEABLE

Key Specifications

Material: Malleable iron (cast iron to EN1562 standard).
Standards Met: Typically manufactured to BS EN 10242 (previously BS 143 & 1256) and ISO 7-1 for threads.
Connection Type: Female BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe) or BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper) threaded ends are standard in the UK. BSPT tapered threads provide a stronger seal than parallel threads when used with appropriate jointing compound.
Pressure Rating: Up to 25 bar (PN25) at temperatures up to 120°C.
Temperature Range: -20°C to 300°C (with pressure de-rating at higher temperatures).
