HEX FULL NUT

A hexagon full nut is a standard six-sided fastener used with bolts and machine screws to secure components together.

These nuts are typically manufactured to the DIN 934 or ISO 4032 standard, which defines their height as approximately 0.8 times their thread diameter.

Standard Options & Applications

  • Zinc-Plated Steel (BZP): The most common and cost-effective choice for internal use. The zinc coating provides basic protection against rust in dry indoor environments.
  • A2 & A4 Stainless Steel: Essential for moisture resistance. A2 (304 grade) is suitable for general outdoor use, while A4 (316 grade) is "marine grade," specifically designed for saltwater or chemical-rich environments.
  • Brass: Offers natural corrosion resistance and high electrical conductivity, making it the standard for electrical terminals and decorative plumbing fixtures.
  • Nylon: Lightweight, non-conductive, and non-magnetic fasteners primarily used in electrical, electronic, and marine applications. Typically manufactured from Nylon 6.6 (Polyamide), they conform to the DIN 934 or ISO 4032 standard, providing excellent resistance to corrosion, oils, and solvents.
